Coaching for Children and Young Adults

Children and Young Adults

  • Is your child or young adult finding it difficult to cope with school or college?
  • How are they feeling now as they think of returning?
  • Do they have anxiety that had resulted in them dropping out of College or University previously?
  • Are there other issues such as low self-esteem, eating disorders, or self-harm?
  • What impact is this having on the family?

I work with many children and young adults from 5 to 24 helping them to overcome issues like these and to become more confident and resilient in an ever-changing society. Family situations such as a bereavement, events that occur in schools or clubs, accidental physical injuries, other trauma both physical and emotional,  can all lead to issues or illness in the child or young person. No one person will react the same. The response and resulting behaviour are individual. In this way, the work I do is very individual depending on the person I’m working with. No one size fits all.

We also have to understand and appreciate how it is to live in these times, how the cultural shifts are affecting the young in particular. Covid-19 has brought yet another shift and we don’t know the impact and result this will have when we reach the ‘New Normal’ that everyone speaks of

The following is a list of issues I have helped children and young people with. The list is not exhaustive as I see more and more children and young people for different issues all the time.

  • Addictions
  • Arachnophobia (fear of spiders/arachnids)
  • Astrophobia (fear of thunder and lightning)

I offer an initial complimentary consultation to explain how I work, why it works, and allow you to ask any questions.

All work can be done online.
